Partner Deal Registration Program

Any Platinum Partner may submit an opportunity for consideration for the Deal Registration program. Once submitted, IMS will decide if the opportunity is registerable, and will communicate to you within 2 business days.

  • Opportunity’ means a specific sales opportunity, within a company, with identified contacts and budget, expected to close within 120 days of registration.
  • Registering a specific opportunity within a company does not register a company to a partner. Companies may not be registered, only specific opportunities within a company may be registered.
  • Opportunities for all IMS products are eligible, and only for order quantities of 200 devices or more are eligible for opportunity registration.
  • Standard pricing only - special pricing does not apply for opportunity registration.
  • Deal registration can NOT be used for opportunities that are public RFQ’s.

Benefits of registering an opportunity

  • If you bring the lead to IMS, (this is a net new opportunity), you will receive an additional 10% margin on your product and services price. Professional Services do not qualify. You will also receive support from IMS to help close the opportunity, such as our sales engineers and other personnel as needed.
  • If IMS brings an opportunity to you, it is automatically registered to you, but does NOT qualify for an additional 10% margin. You will receive support from IMS to help close the opportunity, such as our sales engineers and other personnel as needed. Please note, IMS reserves the right to reassign this opportunity after 120 days if there is no progress towards closing the opportunity.

Opportunity Registration Process

  • The required information must be submitted on the appropriate IMS Registration Form, and then submitted to the IMS Channel Sales Manager.
  • IMS will check to see if the opportunity has been registered by another partner.
  • Registered opportunities are approved within 2 business days. Once registered, IMS expects visibility into progress: the partner moves the opportunity forward, and provides regular progress reports to their Inside Sales representative.

  Follow-up Post Registration

We understand that things may change with your opportunity. An opportunity that is taking longer than expected to close may be submitted for re-registration.
